The zodiac has twelve divisions in summation. And the one that is responsible in representing the zodiac is the Astrological Sign or Star Signs. There are events that occur, which are considered as celestial phenomena that usually managed to take a certain effect or even govern a person’s life depending on its celestial bodies signs and birth date. Speaking of celestial body’s phenomena, it deals with the movement of the moon, sun, stars and the planets making a certain way or path for a person’s life. The astrological sign is composed of twelve different symbolisms.

Among these twelve astrological sign three of them are under the fire element (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. There are three signs under the Earth element (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn). Another three are under the air element (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius). And the last three signs were under the water element (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces).

The signs are also categorized in qualities namely Cardinal, fixed and mutable signs. The cardinal signs are the zodiacs that are involved in the temperate zone changes, especially if the sun passes by annually.  The changes in seasons and four zodiac signs are placed under this category: they are the Aries, Libra, Cancer and lastly, the Capricorn. On the other hand, the next quality is the fixed signs and under the fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and of course, the Aquarius. These fixed signs represents a season (spring, summer, autumn and winter) from Northern Hemisphere to the seasons (autumn, winter, spring and summer) in the Southern hemisphere, respectively. And then the last one is the mutable quality and under this one are the following signs; Gemini (bet. Spring & summer season), Virgo (bet. summer & autumn season), Sagittarius (bet. autumn & winter season) and Pisces (bet. winter & spring season).

Each of the Star Signs has its own specific and unique symbolism such as the following:

• Aries (the ram) has this face and then the horns of the ram.
• Taurus also has the face and the horns that represent the bull.
• Gemini has a companion sign
• Cancer has the crab’s claws.
• A head and mane of the lion symbolizes Leo.
• A sheaf of barley is for the Virgo.
• Scales are for the Libra
• Scorpio has this scorpion’s stinger as a symbol.
• A centaur’s arrow is for the archer.
• A goat’s head and body with fish tail is for the Capricorn.
• As for the Aquarius, has a pair of parallel water ripples or lightning bolt signs.
• And lastly, Pisces has this two fish, which are tied together.

There are many things that you need to know about astrological signs. Not just its meanings or the qualities that it represents. There are also the personal, interpersonal and the transpersonal signs. You also need to consider the “Tropical Zodiac” primary factors from first to the third factors of course. Then, there are the planetary rulerships. Each sign has its own planet rulers. True, learning more about this seems so fun and interesting. No wonder many people are into this already.
